Is anybody else completely unable to type messages in-game? I've had the same issues from time to time but now it's so bad the only time my messages are showing up is when I'm alone in a game.
Does this mean that my account is flagged as a potential spam bot for some reason? I can type in channels with no issue.
Talked to a couple of people having the same problem, but not to this extent.

Is this a known issue and is there any fix?

this is bound to your key, change it and you can type again.
else you can wait 1-180 days (it really varies and i dont know its dependency) until its gone.

Banned words is what make you mute

Double check that you didn't ignore yourself.

Check the ignore.txt file in your d2 folder or delete it.

This happens if you multibox and accidentally hit ignore instead of invite.

might not help your situation, but be aware that typing a sequence that includes "eyg", such as "they got" in a chat message will result in a temporary mute
