was your inventory full at the time? Perhaps you didn't have enough strength/dex to wear your gear, and didn't have space to pick them up as you collect your corpse.

Your best bet is report a ticket to Blizzard and hope they do a roll back on your character. But chances of that happening are very slim. Usually they don't restore anything character related.

exactly this. your items will drop

i cant even report anything to blizz about d2 and your right when u say anything about d2 now they just tell you to contact some third party shit that doesnt help at all

google some on the str bug.
basicly you always need to carry enough str to wear eq. often you can take off str giving items, but if u die u cannot pick body, and if u then brb with body picked up once but still lying dead on floor u gonna loose those items.

u can brb before u pick up body, then go priv game and take on str giving items to help pick up body, but only if u have not tried to pick it up.

Might have more luck calling Blizzard. Sometimes their customer service on the phone can do more.
