The Weller takes ages to heat up and it doesn't have the thermal output and it doesn't even remotely compare in price and versatility.


I have nothing against some weller products, but their consumer line is pure trash aside from maybe the high wattage guns. But even they are duty limited.

Just one power supply should be fine. The pcb for the power on the led strip is pretty flimsy, thats why they recommend hooking up an additional power cable from the psu to multiple spots on a longer led.
