TLDR: Mostly wondering about some controller that's the easiest to use for LED strips, with least amount of soldering or adding pieces to the setup. More so plug and play for hardware?
I have been looking into getting LED strips for a room. I'd like to be able to use software to program or set my own lighting scenes and movements with the lights.
It looks like many DIY kits require soldering and slightly complicated wire diagrams with amplifiers and adding extra wires to avoid voltage drops.
Any easier kits that pretty much have most of the tedious work done with the hardware portion of the LED strips, but still allow me to use arduino or something similar to program lighting scenes?
Thanks
Looking at this makes me a bit confused. I think for this image, the person said to do this every 2 meters of LED strips to supply sufficient power. Which seems like a lot to do? also i am having trouble following all of the steps lol
