Bought a 27inch samsung monitor off Ebay and the ports are all facing to the side on the back
If I move stuff around it pulls on them and I can lose signal.
Any ideas to keep them in?

I have the same thing.
There is a thing you can stick to the back on your monitor that's somewhat like a zip-tie and you just run your monitor cables through it and tighten it enough so that when moving around the cords don't fall out.

This type of thing, but you can find them cheaper..even at a dollar store:

Yeah I thought about plugging it in with a little slack and just zipping it to the stand. Kind of ugly though

The slack would be at the back though so you wouldn't see it, unless your desk is not facing a wall. The side may look a little bit weird but nothing you can do about that.
