So I've decided to write about my job to mostly vent. I'm sure no one cares and most of you make a hour what i will in a month.

I work for a super company. I'm sure most of you shop at one. They pay pretty decent for no education and a record with lots of tattoos. Simple work. Costumer service is about 99.9%
Any who.
First, if you are the type of person to think hanging out in the furniture department is a good date idea, fuck you.

Second. Don't bring your kids at 11:30 and leave them in toys while you shop till close. We are not your sitters.

We're located right by a shelter and unfortunately that means we have a lot of theft. My company doesn't care about that because its part of the budget. I've seen people come in, pick up a 50' flatscreen and just walk out with it or return it (get money) In fact if any of you like to steal my company does not give a shit, free stuff all around!

Had a gentleman come into the store this morning and ask to use the fitting room. He decided to shit all over the room than left. Couldn't be bothered with the restrooms (which we have 2)

Is it right to hide the coronavirus from customers? 3 employees have been positively tested and they told me to not repeat it.
I understand why but shit that is shady.

It must be hardwired into every one to just hate thief's to the point people will go out of their way, ignore the company policy, and start a argument with someone who doesn't have much to lose.
So many of my coworkers take it personally when a shoplifter comes into their section to steal. It doesn't matter what it is.
On one hand I understand the feeling of putting 50+ hours a week just to have the little i do and watching people just take what they want with zero consequences.
On the other hand, my store is huge! They expect theft and budget for it.
I don't get paid to stop someone.
I've signed papers saying I won't touch any one.
(Ive seen a few dudes get sucker punched by trying to stop a shoplifter.)
The people doing it have nothing. I mean nothing. They want us to press charges so they can sleep at county for a few days.
If someone hit me they better make it count. No matter what they company may say to me, if someone strikes me I'm defending my self.

We're all getting an extra 2$ a hour, I love having a job but damn. Don't come shopping in a pandemic, especially for bull shit. P.s if you bring your children to shop for junk you're a real piece of shit.
I am liking the fact we all wear masks now so I don't need to give everyone a fake ass smile.

I'm getting paid a lot of money to wash carts...high as hell.

I took a hit of acid before my shift, I'll decide if that was good or just dumb soon....
