I like it... but only if you get the Ancestral/Demonic/Angelic Stat screen to add the points into each 3 when you level up....


if they are not going to bring back Strength/Dex/Vit/Energy... then adding in this new stat would compensate...

Here we go with all these great new ideas...good in theory but crap in reality. Watch it slowly morph into a dumbed down and polished version of D2.

Just give is D2 remastered and all is well, you can make Diablo 4,5,6,7 idgaf

its not at all lol this makes things alot more interesting
its pretty much a whole new stat system along side the skill system like diablo 2's str/dex/vit/energy
the stat system allows you to customize a character in a certain direction eg in d2 if you want a stronger barb with more damage then accumulate more str from gear or stat points because 1 str = 1% ED
same for zon with dex or if you want a tank ES sorc add energy
the fun is in balancing a character stat wise to fit your personal play style

In D4 stats will instead be "Ancestral/Demonic/Angelic"
this would require you to balance your character accordingly
you could also go in the direction of tank or glass cannon depending on your stats

Angelic Power, which increases the duration of all beneficial effects (like self-buffs or healing)
Demonic Power, which increases the duration of all negative effects (like debuffs or damage over time)
Ancestral Power, which increases the chance of on-hit effects (aka increased proc chance)
