voted no because its very easy to get scammed since there is always the possibility
the name will be taken upon deletion (and you need to delete it in order to sell it).
imagine the seller lies and says the name was deleted. buyer is upset and says that
the name is not available / is taken. this scam is bilateral because buyer can falsely
claim to have deleted the name while seller can claim the name is not available.

even if both are honest, there are many name-botters that could grab the name
upon transaction and cause problems.
risky trades like that should be forbidden on this site.

I've definitely seen people who are selling 50+ names that they've reserved, some people have hundreds it's honestly a ot.



I 100% agree. I do get how you can add an * or - or x to a name but I think the sale of names should not be allowed on jsp and hoarding dozens and dozens of names is honestly stupid

Well if the name is on ladder and gets moved to nonladder you can't create it on ladder because it's on the same server. I'm sure someone who has that name is fairly active with it

in d3 and sc2 you dont have a unique name. anybody can have any name but you have your own id. i think diablo 4 will be the same way

that sucks though tbh..reduces the value of names

It’s stupid and they never seem to make a lot of fg for the time it must take if they’re doing it manually
