wanted to buy some classic gold but was wondering if its safe / if anyone's heard of getting banned for that?

Just take the proper precautions while buying such as never mention anything about d2jsp in game as well as put up a few items as a counter offer in the trade

It's safe, obviously just don't do a ton of gold at once and don't mention anything about this website in game for sure.

rumor has it that 2500 gold is the amount that trips blizz's automods and triggers an investigation. That info isn't based on anything concrete though.

If possible, I might be tempted to say try and buy Black Lotuses instead of gold if you can.
