That's pretty top notch, but ya I'm thinking I'm going to go bone spear, it seems to be the best option

1 into Bone spear is enough, even in act 4 hell. You may want to equip a +5 wand, but it's not necessary.
Indeed, first corpses are hard to get, but it's like 30sec ~ 1min work, then you can clear all the act you're playing on, with your 11 skeletons + mages, and corpse explosion.

This is a very safe playstyle, but also a bit boring...

Good point, but I was also thinking getting a lvl 20 bone spear would make clearing faster, I'm currently stuck in the maggot lair because only 1 skele can fight at a time and thinking bone spear is my ticket out
