looking at picking up a couple acer v246hql cbid, 2018model.

just need for work and its all spreadsheets

below is what im running.

what do i need to make these run on this comp? an adapter? or should i just use one atm until i build a new comp? i only use it for d2, agar.io, work and cbr.

VGA = D-Sub, so for that connector on your motherboard you just need a VGA to VGA cable.

The other motherboard connector is HDMI, so you'll want an HDMI to DVI connector.

Yeah. Ideally, you would want a vid card for running two monitors, but for just spreadsheet crap, you should be fine.


/e Things like the power supply, RAM etc. don't have any affect on this. The motherboard only determines which cables you need. The CPU, or in your case the APU determines the graphics power your computer has.
You won't be running games on two monitors, that's for sure. :)

So i started with one monitor (Acer SB270 bbix)

and if i run it in 1920x1080, the screen doesnt fill the monitor.

I have to run it on 1680x1050 to fill the screen, which defeats the purpose of having this large, 1080p monitor.

Thoughts? Is it just limitations because of my apu?
