Looks like a typical issekai to me.

The reason why it's not typical is because of the MC himself. But it still is a power fantasy isekai anime. The show itself is more comedy than anything else.

At the end of the day, it's still a typical isekai, that is trying to not be your typical isekai. The simple fact that the Hero doesn't give 2 shits about generally anything but himself makes for some hilarious moments at times.

Feels like a recycled Konosuba tbh.

People compare it to Konosuba plenty, but both MCs have their own quirks and I personally find them different. Konosuba's cast and this anime's cast are castly different also, giving it a different feel. I like Goddess in this anime over Aqua also

yeah it's not exactly the typical isekai, which I think is what makes it stand out
