Common good capitalism is spending a couple dollars more per commodity so you can purchase an ethical experience along with a product, to alleviate the problems caused by capitalism, such as environmental disasters, and the creation of ghettos, apartheids, and slums.

To continue this Free market narrative in a country where a billionaire is now in charge and is ready to give all the executive power to others billionaires ? Next step is totalitarianism.
More freedom to your states who are then, individually, even weakier against giants (who continue to grow up) ?

Both "moralists" and "libertarians" will be gone soon at this rate.

Are there any examples of trump doing this beyond what his predecessors have done? Or do you just sort of say things

This. Whether it be so-called "common good capitalism", social entrepreneurship, or ethical capitalism, the root is capitalism and its inherent propensity to prioritize profits, define sense of worth based off of productivity, and exploit the worker. In the short term, it looks and sounds better than capitalism alone, but long term I can only imagine it'll be exposed as the shortcoming that it is.

Trumps original cabinet had at least 4 billionaires.

attacking a person who questions your comments

sounds like you probably shouldn't be posting in a politics sub so much, since it seems you're missing the whole point.

The natural state of man is dirt-ridden, village-level destitution/slums. Capitalism is the only force in history that has been able to lift civilization above that low bar.

I disagree, and don't think any one factor is responsible for our collective development. Capitalism certainly has had beneficial components to society in comparison to historical precedent, but is merely a stepping stone on the path to an even better system.

We were out of the slums way before capitalism was even a concept much less adopted. Go talk to Rome around 0 ad about capital and private ownership as a fundamental right and you would be laughed out of court.
