So last thread hasn't been bumped in 3 months, so let's keep this going...

Mets going after lefty Kwang-Hyun Kim, who seems like he could be a decent SP with a nice slider.

Unfortunately his 1.328 career WHIP in the Korean league leaves a lot to be desired...

Wheeler seems like he's on his way out. And question is who can we replace him with? Prefer Lugo to stay and dominate the bullpen, maybe Gsellman for SP due to groundballs?

How you guys like Stroman? Came from my team and I loved his energy..just wondering what you guys think of him overall?

Struggled immensely at first, but settled down. I like Stroman, he's clearly the Wheeler replacement, which I sort of didn't like, since we could've just paid Wheeler outright, or kept both.

Stroman's strengths from my first perspective is that he's a good pitcher who can get ground balls. Our infield defense left a lot to be desired, so he wasn't used effectively. Hopefully, Rosario, McNeil, and Cano/Alonso's defense will be improved next year so we can make better use of him.

What they need to do is stop looking for guys that we don't need. Why would you sign Nunez or adams when you clearly need outfielders and bullpen arms.
Nimmo is a good bat but his outfield skills are lacking.
J.d. Davis also is not an outfielder. I like him but again need an outfielder

you have cespedes, marisnik, and conforto all who are decent in the outfield (granted only conforto is starting [prob cespedes over jd if his recovery is fine])
in the outfield you also have the couple you mentioned in jd and nimmo.. along with dom smith if he is still there when the season starts
every other position has pretty good roster players including rosario, cano, ramos, and your two stars alonso and mcneil
i think the mets roster looks pretty good on paper, and barring injuries they could really push the NL east ticket
rotation is very good, even good enough to push matz to the pen

the adams signing is fine.. a power lefty off the bench is never a bad thing. yall have pretty good depth and im frightened of every team in the east except miami
