When I saw the orb update I originally thought it was for stars.

The orb update is a better idea though because the colors don't define status but the donor stars do. I could go either way on this one.

Does the orb of random actively change or do you need to refresh?

I can already achieve this by manually switching them
And a lot of People do that already. If you check trade forum you can see that they are already colorful

Some stars are ugly. The orbs at least are not.

Why not cycle through like on the preview?

Everyone I know was excited and ready to spend 5k fg on the orb but saw that it was only changing on refresh. That changed their mind.

I think the reason why the orb doesn't change randomly now without a refresh is cause it would make the site look super tacky.
More over if the same happened with the stars it would also be gaudy as fuck.

I would not object to it randomly selecting through stars though after refreshes.
