I thought it was awesome. A fitting sequel to The Shining.

What happened to all those children is monstrous. Those pricks deserved worse.

I actually haven't seen the shining. I'm not big on old horrors. I just can't adjust my head to how poorly fake they are

To me the original Texas chainsaw is a comedy

But doctor sleep is definitely worth a look. Although it's almost more of an action movie than a horror imo

It's not a true sequel.

And it still makes 100% sense even without watching the original.

All you need to know is that shining = magical powers, and young boy with the shining grows up to be adult who still has the shining. Easy

Oh ive yet to watch. I love the shining. Wanted to read both before watching doctor sleep!
