Never ever take seriously the one who told you such a thing.

Wouldnt recommend it as a main source.

I use 2 cups a day for a shake, but I'm honestly thinking of changing to almond milk.
2 cups of 2% is,
240 cal ---10 g fat (6g saturated) | 16 g protein | 24 g sugar.

Milk will make you feel bloated, and it will make you feel like crap if you consume too much of it.
Plus, overall, milk doesn't appear to be that great for you overall. Some won't hurt, as anything in moderation, but I definitely wouldn't recommend a gallon of milk a day regime. Lol.

Funny. When I was 22ish, I did the GOMAD thing for a few weeks, I didn't gain any weight which was my main goal.
I felt so bloated, that while the gallon of milk I consumed may have been a lot of calories, I felt so terrible that I couldn't really consume much else in the day.

do you know what part of milk makes you bloated? i know people who are becoming lactose intolerant can feel that way. dunno if that's what you experienced or if there's something else in it that causes it

It depends how much I drink. 2 cups is fine. But if I had something like, let's say, 5-6 cups and ice cream. Oh man, gut rot.

I think that's common though to have those levels of reactions to milk. Or I'd imagine.

I couldn't tell the exact part of milk that makes a person bloated, it's incredibly basic on the pH scale, which is why when you watch those milk chugging videos of like a gallon or so, the person always throws up. (Honestly not a dietician or expert, but this is my understanding. Lol)

Google the label. Normally its around 8 grams of protein per cup. Not too back but too much milk is bad for you. Its about moderation. Cheese is a better source of protein anyways.
