When PTR first came out, hands down I knew it was going to be barb. But they dialed that back after PTR, and now I am not sure.

Monk with the new set looks very interesting, especially for hardcore. Is it possible to have the 2 piece set bonus of Sunwuko giving 50% dmg reduce and get the 50% dmg reduce from the new set? If so, stacking both of those with the dmg reduce from the green doge aura and the doge passive for duel wielding will really boost your toughness and help keep you alive.

I am thinking of going Hardcore Monk for this season. I have hardcore toons, but never did hardcore season before. What class and core are you rolling with, and why?

Would be interesting in working with anyone who also plays hardcore seasonal. I usually play a good bit for the first few weeks then it tappers off for me, mostly nights and weekends (US-EST). I never play more than 5 hours in a day tho. Let me know if you want to join me in game.

they're going to patch before the new season.. so we'll see what they decide to buff/nerf

as i predicted, the temptest rush monk is strongest this season. it is also a perfect char for doing hardcore. easy playstyle and very tanky.
