amp at 60-70% 770s distort, and hyperx delivers and u start feeling the air punch which is even better

dt770 here but 250 version and plus i have clouds here too and there is no chance of the clouds being remotely superior with onboard, and or dac/amp from a music standpoint

and many devices are power them well

for gaming wise eh pretty close but I use vss for games with shit sound for headphones

hows everything wired?

you using the hyperx usb dongle? for both?

you comparing the e10k dac/amp with both?

the way im using right now is, amp connected to comp thru usb, and then my headphones straight into the amp (without using hyperx thingy)
hyperx thing has its own sound drivers like the amp, and is also usb, so its not possible to use the amp WITH the hyperx thing at same time
i dont use my motherboard sound drivers, this amp has its own drivers since its usb

so you are using the hyperx are they using the e10k? or usb dongle

and when using the dt770 are they using the e10k too?

need apples to apples comparison, only change 1 variable
like hyperx clouds to e10k vs dt770 to e10k
and clouds to usb dongle vs dt770 to usb dongle

and you using the bass switch on e10k?

What you are describing on those 770dt seems like they are either broken or user error

Quite sure it is the latter.
