titan quest is better than grim dawn and that is saying a lot

grim dawn is pretty straight up trash, and for the prices they charge forget about it.

personally titan quest to me was leagues better than either grim dawn or poe. that game, although sometimes boring, did have much more charisma than grim dawn or poe. also both grim dawn and poe have the problem of being constantly changed, which prevents me from pimping a char to the max :(

grim dawn seems to be a better game than poe though, at least what poe is now :wacko: ive played grim dawn and enjoyed it a lot :drool: my complaints arent even about the game quality, but about no multiplayer and price, while poe is technically still free...ehh...i would still prefer grim dawn to poe, but i do understand the opposite view as well :blush:

one more thing: grim dawn is perfectly balanced, kinda too perfectly :wacko: i like to be able to steamroll through the entire game if my build/items are perfect. games like d2, nwn, kotor, might & magic series, etc come to mind. in grim dawn you simply cant do that, no matter what you have or how good you are :cry:

as for titan quest vs either of those games just no. titan quest is better imo, hands down :drool:

edit: actually titan quest is the best example of how a game is hard, but allows you to absolutely destroy it with the right idea! make a brigand with 2k DA, 100% chance to avoid proj and -100% recharge time and you will demolish anything that comes your way, while being immune to nearly everything :wacko: or just go for spirit mastery and you dont even need good items! or go hunting/spirit and you dont need items at all :mellow: !

steam rolled grim dawn and carried my buddy through it (but yeah paying those prices and no official servers? - crate is a pretty shit company anyway)
long boring multiple back tracking and no endgame
'story' was about as shit as poe story too

all true :cry: story especially was shit to begin with, and then patched up a few times along with expansions, pretty much same as poe was :wacko: veeery underwhelming, i tried to follow it but it was just too boring :cry: the gameplay i liked because it reminded me of what poe used to be, a hard game where you do your best to make something unique, and everything works if you build it correctly :blush:
