D4 is not just about being dark, it's about maintaining a lot of the stuff from d1 and d2 but it seems like they've maintained more things like graphic art from d3. The only thing I can see that makes it seem like diablo is the camera style.
Diablo still has a big name and they know they can still make millions from it which is the only reason why they're investing in it. Seems like the gameplay is very primitive and slopped together in the year they had after failed diablo mobile.

i think there are similarities, but it is not exactly the same since its a brand new engine with lots of work to be done still

its too bad they didnt announce d4 like two years later or so.... now we have to keep hearing all the bs and assumptions for a loooong time

I just hope they make a good game.

If not then the D4 cinematic made me hard enough to last a long time.
