Pretty bullshit ruling.

The core problem, however, is that German criminal law is too fucking soft. There is no death penalty and no "stacking" of sentences for multiple crimes in German law, the highest possible sentence is "lifelong imprisonment", which is capped at 15 years (sic).
Courts can order preventive detention beyond those 15 years if experts deem the prisoner an imminent threat to society, but if preventive detention isnt part of the sentence, a murderer will get out after just 15 years.

If the guy had been spending the rest of life in prison, this whole discussion wouldnt be necessary.

A murderer walks free and sexually identifies as digital John Cena and doesn't want people to see him online.
The government is woke AF and wants to force everyone to comply with the murderers' wishes to protect his "rights" because thats whats important.
The German Chancellor was just praised for a fiery speech condemning free speech. If the government doesn't crack down on speech then "our society will no longer be the free society that it was" you see..

Mentioning the fact that someone is a murderer has always been one of those limits.

it appears the case is being remitted, but i don't think he's technically won any case yet.

"right to be forgotten" is about the removal of personal data.
crime history is public record and i don't see how anyone can claim possession over public record.
