so my Initial reaction was "D3 2.0"

but after reading more about it, I definitely think I will buy it.

It won't be the same as D2 -- but that would be impossible to pull off unless they made it 2 dimensional again.

If you look at it as an entirely new game, compared to other games nowadays, it looks pretty promising.

I have zero trust in Activision / Blizzard but if they take their time to really develop it, it could be worth the $60.

I did buy diablo 3 and I knew it was trash compared to d2 going in but I'm too much of a diablo fan to pass on one of their games so yea even if its ass I'll still play

As much as I have my reservations of the game, I'll probably still end up buying it as long as it's not $60+. I imagine they will keep the same end game as Diablo 3 though, and result in only cyclical gameplay periods of a few weeks at a time.
