But people are going to trading for rares with the intention of putting the legendary affix on them

Its not legendary affix, thats one thing, other thing is once you ENCHANT item you can't trade it.

Every restriction on trading is bad since it affect other game parts (drop chances, itemization etc) which then need to be changed in order for system to work, since in arpg everything is connected, and if core elements are changed then we get diffrent type of game genre as we see it now with D4.



Here on 5:25 on trading, he said legendary or unique items will be the best for many slots, since they can roll higher item power (on 6:50 time mark)

Well those rares with good rolls won’t be very rare at all tbh and not be worth trading imo (you only need 3 affixes to roll good and just enchant the last?).
gold is probably no problem so very little demand, same for the other stuff

Forget trading in d4, don’t even get exited, I‘m curious of PVP tho, if it turns out to be good and fun D4 might be actually cool (huge copium here after D3 disaster)

Don't give up on rares, the scarcity of a GG roll is extreme. You'll get a lot for a perfect roll, especially if you play a harder to farm class.

Unless it was changed, aspects could be traded. Enchanted items as in what? Ones you apply a legendary aspect to making it a legendary?

Not all rare items were tradable. Quest rewards were not tradable.

Not the ones you apply legendary aspect, thats a diffrent thing, there will also be item enchant which then make every item untradable.
