Hey friends

So it's a 2000 Mustang GT 4.6 16valve V8 5speed

It has an OEM cold air intake and I was planning on upgrading the throttle body and the plenum for inhaling and for the exhaust setup long tube headers with x pipe and catback exhaust...

I need help with this.

Long tube headers inlet / outlet diameter = 1.75" / 3" (v flange outlet)

X pipe inlet /outlet diameter = 2.25" / 2.25" (v flange inlet

Catback exhaust inlet / outlet = 2.5" / 4" exhaust tip

Can I just buy an adapter such as these listed below to make all this work and just clamp and even maybe weld if I have to?

thanks for all your input

Yea you'll need a total of 4 vband reducer flange and 4 vband flange of the reduced size, all have to be welded

Id make sure both are same steel as the exhaust part youre trying to install

Thanks for advice.

Everything is stainless steel and so are the adapters.

Why would I need 4 instead of 2?
The X-pipe part connecting to the catback exhaust looks the same and I do not think they are v flange...

I mean you have 4 flange right? Two at the header and two at the x pipe

I would add picture of what youre trying to do before asking for help

Jsp keeps blocking the ebay for the URL...just highlight and delete from www. delete .com/
