Everyone says it, but I can't stress enough how much a well balanced diet is crucial to any gym goals you may have. It doesn't matter if you're looking to burn fat or build muscle - figure out what you need for your macros/calorie deficit or surplus is and stick to it.

Do that and stop bitching.

Without a doubt. Having a good healthy routine actually just kinda makes me enjoy life more.

Plus, without a routine/planned diet, it will be difficult as hell to stick with it.

It's infinitely easier when you don't have to think about it because it's already all been thought out.

I've also enjoyed adding cardio again, I used to never do it at some points, but personally, I think just lifting weights isnt that fun, or interesting, at least to me it isn't. But being healthy is important to me, so trying to help break it up is great. Plus, I feel so much physically and mentally better after a good winded cardio session.
