As title says, 16gb ram but 8gb reserved.
here are my specs

things that I have tried so far.
1. Move ram sticks to different slots (currently back to dual channel slots)
2. msconfig boot advanced (unchecked maximum memory)
3. virtual memory (checked no paging file)
I'm wondering if its something I can check and resolve from Bios set up but I am not sure how to do it on gigabyte bios.
Can someone help me walkthru the bios or any other solutions?
Thanks~

did you read the manual to know the order you have to put the RAM into the slots?

check for bios updates from the manufacturer, if there is nothing on the manufacturer end you might read this:

msconfig.exe
boot tab > advanced options
check number of processors, set to max
check maximum memory, set to max (16384 for 16 GB)
it's likely not a BIOS problem if Windows can see all 16 GB.
