HELP PLEASE

This is for a 2006 Scion tC so the story is this:

I have only 1 key and the buttons are messed up so I took out the electrical thing inside the key out and put it in a new key without it made yet by a locksmith and I got the bright idea to see if the car would start with just the original bare key and no electrical thing and it would not crank.
I put the electrical thing back inside the original key and now the car will not start at all.

All the electrical stuff is good, the key unlock/lock buttons work on the key but it wont crank.

Do you think the starter just spazzed on me or is the immobilizer doing something? No cranking noise.

PLEASE HELP I CANT MOVE THE CAR AND I NEED TO MOVE IT SOON OR TOW

I assume that key has the FOB built in? I would google or YouTube that key and double check how you put the “electrical thing” back together cause it sounds like it’s not communicating with the antenna coil anymore. If it was starting fine and then after the switch it won’t start that would be some crazy timing for the starter to take a dump.

I think the chip is good

It locks and unlocks everything fine.
