Why? Most people's IQ isn't high enough to warrant additional education. They should be cutting kids out of public schools and putting them into trade schools as it is.

Shift unnecessary monies away from traditional public schools. Then we won't have so many people wasting time getting either meaningless degrees or barely passing in college. The people who are driven and intelligent enough always find their way up. Maybe then we wouldn't have discrimination against more highly qualified university applicants at prestigious schools based on quotas.

If we put more emphasis on high school, and brough tit up to a certain level (perhaps gof or 2 years long or so) we could solve the university crisis. But, don't underestimate how much our culture woudl be ruined if they really lowered the education budget. its worth having that problem.

Bringing it up requires the tough decisions to fail the students that aren't cutting it and shift them onto a different career avenue since traditional education isn't going to suit them. The state of public education is due to lowering the standards so that "no child is left behind."

That is true, but there is no real avenue for kids who fail out at this point. You have to get your g.e.d to even work minimum wage jobs. So if we want to crash our next generation, go ahead and advocate for that. I think their future is more important than some prospering now.

Yeah, that's why I'm saying we need to develop and put more emphasis into trades. Right now, most people scoff at tech school alternatives to high school (and rightly so, a lot of them are shit). But they also typically have some of the worst funding. Develop the other avenues and give bad traditional students another opportunity to have a decent career. That means shifting funding.

People working minimum wage jobs aren't using 12th grade equivalent skills in English and math. If those people truly had 12th grade equivalent skills, they could do customer service or some similar office job starting at double the minimum wage.

Military budget is 20% and its the only one that shouldn't be cut.

Considering that everyone should have guns anyway, I don't even see how this is a point.

Don't like commies in Vietnam or Muslims in Iraq? You should take a plane and go kill them yourself; I don't see why you'd need to leech off your fellow Americans for that.

Verifiable false, please take a basic business class.

Please don't waste your time in a business class, its unnecessary and offers low human/world value. I don't think staring at Bezos 'Blue Balls' is helping people, while I'm sure he got R&D credits for making that junk.
