I'm just curious on what the names of all of the 08 valks out there currently in circulation that are either perm or have a good history. Same with all other 08's.

The reason lists haven't been helpful in the past is that if you rely on a list to tell you what items are safe, people will take advantage of that fact to scam people with items from that list.
It doesn't help that many well-known people on your realm will let scammers use their names in fake histories.

A list of items that had not poofed yet as of 6 months ago is not that useful because you're trading now, not 6 months ago. The information, if it was true to begin with, may be out of date.

If you don't trust the person who is selling you the item, you can't trust the item.

Every single valk that used to be on the "list" had been scammed or duped at least once and most had been bought/sold by people known to sell unperm valks.
If that information is not disqualifying, then what is the point of a history at all?

I've seen people post threads on this site asking who owned X item during X timeframe when there was a public dupe because he was trying to buy 08 items from a known uap scammer and wanted to know if he could trust it.

Yep agreed 1000% its about the people not a list. The list is only valuable in letting you know when I item goes dirty and should not be trusted.
