I got a 128SSD atm with the OS on it. I got a new 1TB SSD and would like to replace it. Any guides or tips on how to do this smooth?

The other alternative would be to change my HDD at 1TB vs the SSD at 1TB. I doubt I really would need more then 1128GB

Put os on 1tb ssd

What I mean is that currently the OS is installed at the 128SSD. I also got a 1TB 7200RPM SATA HDD connected.
I got this new 1 TB SSD as a present and I could either:
1) change the 128SSD to 1 TB SSD. Then I got 1TB SSD + 1TB HDD
2) change the 1TB HDD to 1TB SSD. Then I got 1TB SSD+128GB SSD.

I could just clone the OS according to this if I go with scenario 2: https://www.ubackup.com/windows-10/clone-ssd-to-larger-ssd-windows-10-8523.html

I highly doubt I really need 2 TB space. How would you guys do?

1tb ssd and 1tb hdd anything less is stupid imo.
clonezilla is for cloning, you don't clone an os while its in use hence clonezilla and not some other random program.
