Anyone well versed with these cars? Looking to purchase one and I've got my eye on a few.

IMS and RMS seals I know to look out for, as previous models had issues, but wondering what else I should be looking for.

Save this for what? Used Caymans hover between 20-50k depending on the year/model. If you're implying I'm living in a fairy tale where I think I'm richer than I actually am, you're misinformed. I'm not rich, however I'm not poor. I budget properly for things I want and can afford and this car is one of those things.
