He literally said Sixers shot league average from 3, and as a result they won.

36ish% is league average

??????

He also said Philly blew out the Nets. Never knew 11 points was a blow out.
His whole post was confusing. Was a weird flex beating a team that's 18-22.. I mean you're philly. Supposed to be NBA champs right?

They would have beat the mavs and easily handle the pacers if they shot average on wide open 6ft+ space 3's, but they were shooting like 20% on those shots or some shit.

My point is that Ben Simmons isn't the issue if the other people just did an average job at doing what they're supposed to do. But every time the sixers lose, people come out like he's the problem the lost

People sid similar things about Lillard when Portland got swept against the Pelicans.
In fact I bet I could find a post or two from our resident Philly fans if I cared enough to look.
The best player takes the blame. Right now Simmons is Robin to Embiid's batman.

Then Embiid should take more of the blame, but Simmons gets the most of the flak because his flaws are obvious to the basketball casuals.

They don't see him making 3's so he must not be doing anything on the basketball court.

I'm not even sure what point you're trying to make at this point. Everybody knows Embiid is the better player.

Ben Simmons has recorded four consecutive 20-point games for the first time in his career. He's the first Sixers player to score 20+ points with a 55+ FG% in four straight games since Elton Brand in November 2010.

Ben Simmons has been more aggressive since Joel Embiid went down (stats compared to before) 19.2 PPG (+4.3) 59.1 FG% (+2.8) 14.7 FGA (+3.9) 8.7 RPG (+1.2) 7.2 APG (-1.6)

Imagine Ben Simmons but playing with a team of guys who can actually shoot - he cops it for not shooting but his current teammates are showing why they shouldn't shoot either.

Steve Nash on Ben Simmons:

Quote
Ben’s a generational talent. Crazy athlete, can play multiple positions on offense and defense. Obviously his glaring weakness is the shooting, but he’s so gifted that he can make up for it in other ways, and it’s about finding a way for him to be at his best for this group. And that’s a challenge for this club, is how do all the pieces fit together? Ben’s ability at both ends of the floor is unique and he’s a special, special player.

“I wouldn’t put it past him to become a reliable shooter at some stage in his career, but he still does so many things at both ends of the floor that if you could find a way as an organization to promote that, you have an incredible, incredible piece. That is a huge challenge — how do all the pieces fit? … I think it’s something that Brett [Brown] and everyone are working through every day. It’s a gift and a curse.
