But yeah, i'm glad they moved on. I'm sure he'll have some success in the NBA elsewhere but we didn't have time to keep waiting around. Too much distraction and drama, and now the Sixers are in a place to contend despite that awful outcome of trading up to get him at #1 which is pretty impressive to rebound from.
Literally imagine if the Sixers had not literally wasted the #1 pick just a couple of years ago that they had to trade up for. God damn, but we still in great shape so it doesn't hurt as bad now since other guys have lived up to their expectations.
