In general you will be downloading and installing a program called: chntpw

This program (Change NT Password) will locate the SAM file(s) for you, and allow you to clear or edit the password(s).

Yea im now stuck trying to mount the hard drive and getting the hard drice label

The version in that tutorial is different than the one i currently have

cause its a tad dated, now I sit back and watch ghot explain it without a guide.

Lol fuck i found the folder with system 32 in it and a mount button but dont see any label to figure out how to move forward

I even looked up another tutorial that has to find the directory and right click to open in terminal but it does not pop for me the same way it does on the tutorial

The version of ubuntu im using is 18.04.03LTS
