I just came across with the Imgur API that can be found here: https://apidocs.imgur.com/?version=latest

The idea is pretty simple and efficient. Make use of Imgur's API and add a new button that allows users to directly
upload images within d2jsp.

This should be implemented because as the things are currently set, one needs to open a new tab, visit an image-host site, upload image there, copy link, come back here, copy-paste image-link in topic, paste
Code
[IMG] [/IMG]
tags, done.
This is unnecessarily complicated and seems pretty outdated as well. But with that API, users would be able to upload images within a few seconds
just by clicking that button, selecting their image from computer, done.

The new button can look like that and it should be obvious that the up-arrow means upload (image):

Added here to the other symbols:

(I haven't removed the old image-button because I think it would be a bad move to force users using this and only this image-sharing service.
Users should still be able to upload images the old way, but also this new way.)

Once you pressed the button, a small window pops up that could look like that, for example:

If the image has been chosen, a link will be generated (imgur), and the required image-tags will be automatically added to it, such that
you have a visible picture.

Sounds good
Uploading loads of SS at once (20+ for pvm sub let's say) messes up the screenshot order and some sites like Imgur upload them for you at random order

Doing this and manually uploading 3 by 3 might be really handy

I just dont know how it works from server side since it needs additional platform to keep all the images from disappearing after X period of time

JSP doesn't have a big enough storage quota. (We're talking INTO THE PETABYTES, IF NOT EXABYTES of data that'd have to be stored!)

JSP is not the one storing the data, it's IMGUR.
It's exactly the same as if you go to https://imgur.com/ and upload a picture.
The only difference is that we would have a button and we could upload photo directly from D2jsp.

Got to love when people can't read past topic title.

Voted yes, of course. I have hoped for such feature for a long time.
