Barb kill speed early on is painfully slow. I usually make dual Black Flails ASAP. Should be good enough until NM Andy where you can grab Butcher’s Pupil or Headstriker.

Yes, i am now using swords. I will respec when i get a piece of gear I think is worth Respec'ing for. I'm open to consideration right now for either swords/axes, not sure which one is better for progression right now.

Yes, definitely. It takes a percentage of the monster’s remaining life. With p8 as Barb, that’s invaluable right now. Monsters have a huge health pool. Also has decent ed and ias. It’s just a little tough finding the Io runes.
