Could you kindly elaborate on your statement, please?

I am confused, seeing how there are 500+ fishing rods listed on PC Blight, including all the mods on your rod.
Not to mention the newly (3.8) added divination card that gives double corrupted fishing rods, with 400+ of those listed on PC Blight.

We are obviously talking about Xbox, yes.

I am also aware that there is no direct search functionality on the Xbox trade board to filter for fishing rods. Which is why I referenced the amount of fishing rods listed on PC Blight since that is easy to verify for anyone interested in this topic:

Your initial statement was not about "fishing as part of the game" but about fishing rods not dropping anymore. They are obviously still dropping in the current league on PC, hundreds of them, as one can clearly see in the various trade engines.
I can not see how things would be different on Xbox when it comes to dropping fishing rods or obtaining them from divination cards. Could you please provide a source or any kind of documentation for your claim that fishing rods are no longer dropping on Xbox?

I stand corrected.
"The vast" divination cards do exist on standard xbox console.
They're currently trading at 10ex per.
So roughly 70ex or so for a rod.
