Its doulbe vs 0% DR enemies
But triple vs 50% DR enemies

Because a 0% dr monster takes full dmg, then you amp(-100%) and he take double dmg.
Meanwhile a 50% dr monster already takes half dmg, so from half to 0% to -50% dr there is tripple effect.

Although the 0% dr monster takes most dmg, the effect is best on 50% dr monsters/players^^

And nomather what people say, amp affects both crushing blow and open wounds. Tested it in pvp for years! My 45% dr es soso takes almost no dmg from OW, meanwhile a 0-8% dr soso looses like 75% of life from it. A assassin kicks 3 times as hard when amp, and crushing blow is like 90% of his dmg on the first hits. Simple as that

Let's test it.

Nightmare mode Dark shapes have 75%dr and 674-933life (found in the flayer dungeon)

lvl99 open wounds deals (45*99-1319)*199/256=2437dmg

If dr% does not affect open wounds, then OW should always oneshot a dark shape
If dr% does affect open wounds, then OW does 2437*0.25=609dmg which should never oneshot a dark shape

Result:
I always oneshot nightmare darkshapes


Further testing, with amp:
Lvl45 open wounds deal (27*45-374)*199/256=654dmg
It should leave a dark shape with between (674-654)/674=3% life and (933-654)/933=30% life
If amp works, dark shapes should get oneshot.

Result:
Dark shapes always live with under a third of their life, regardless of being amped or not.


3rd test, with amp:
Proc ow on a minion dark shape, it lost some 40% life, then I amped and procd ow again, and it lost 40% again


In pvm, physical resist does not mitigate OW drain.*

*Physical immunity can completely stop OW from procing.
