Right now I’m wanting to move everything to a closet or room where I can put all the stuff from my front room in there.

Basically wanting nothing but the TV (which is wall mounted) cluttering up the shelf.

Directly behind the TV where it is on the wall there’s HDMI/Power/Cat 6 ran inside the wall to that little closet/room.

However I’m looking for a good solution to control the cable box and all that mess from the front room. I believe this is usually done with a IR extender but don’t have a lot of experience with stuff like this.

Any suggestions what I should be looking for, price point is under $200

Do your tv and devices support cec or arc or whatever ur brand calls it? Lets you control your devices through HDMI with your TV's remote

I have charter spectrum from what I know they make sure it doesn't support anything because they love making people's lives harder.
