Thanks for all the feedback folks. I'm gonna try Black for now and then consider Rift later on. I don't like VoR in theory--having just one source of elemental damage (cold) seems limiting and will also nullify corpse explosion from death sentry. But if I get the runes at some point, maybe I'll try it out.

Was getting impatient tryna find a 3os flail for Black so I tried this...


And got it :thumbsup:


Had 3 Hels to cube up to Io, had a Thul, then realized I didn't have a Nef :wacko: Back to farming norm countess

Hella stacked resists


Gonna farm meph for a bit. Would be nice to find...

Boots (Gobs?)
Rings (Ravenfrost, dual leecher?)
Leech helm for merc (Andy's, Tals, that one grim helm I can't remember the name of)
New helm for me (Guil, Andy, Tal, grim?)
New armor for Merc (Duriel's?)
Gloves (Dracs?)
Belt (Dungo's, SoE)
Ammy (Honestly anything would be an upgrade compared to current--29 LR + half freeze duration)
MF gear (Skullders, Tarnhelm?, Shako?, Ali Babbster, Goldwrap, Chancies)
Runes, P rubies

I'm using a drop calculator and apparently some of these items can't be found at NM Meph (Andy's, Dungo's, Dracs, SHACCO). Also to clarify, yes I'm re-running meph on p3 even tho at the beginning of the wt I said p8 on all but countess. Things change, ya know?

e/ just noticed mf rates are the same at p1 so might run that instead...

Just noticed dropped items are the same as hero editor items so might as well just use that instead ..

I got lucky with my Riftsin wt by getting decent 3ll 9ds +res blood craft for my merc in a first try. It carried until hell meph if I remember correctly. 3ll is not a lot but it adds up with treachery and decent base insights

Lol you make a valid point. Gonna move on and see how far I can progress with current gear. Will re-assess mf strategy when progress rate becomes unbearable

CB is incredible on bosses and gnarly monsters. I miss the LL from Strength and the cold damage is kinda annoying for death sentries but overall I'm happy with it
