Hey everyone,

It's been a while since I last was active on here - so I'm not sure if this is the right place to post. I'm looking for advice on logging into BNet. I downloaded the client with the keys and installed. When I try to login to BattleNet it gets stuck at Checking Versions and then says "You've been disconnected from BattleNet. Please reconnect".

I'm on a SurfaceBook, private wifi internet connection, tried shutting off the firewall, and updating patches manually. CD Key is the new 26 digit ones.

Has anyone run into this problem/knows a fix? FG reward.

Try changing compatibilty to windows service pack2/3 and running as admin

Otherwise idk if its fresh keys/install

Tried that, thanks for advice. Still doesn't work unfortunately :(

Go to single player, and in the top right corner, what version does it say you are running? 1.14B by any chance?

If so, go to your D2 folder and run the Bnet Updater file. It will update to the latest version and you shouldn't have any issues.

This same thing happened to me on my new laptop recently.

It says 1.14D - I already did the patch update on the game.

Just keep getting the same "You've been disconnected from Battle.net" on USEAST and on other realms it just gets stuck at Checking Versions and then "Battlenet is not responding. Please try connecting again in a few minutes."

I had to download the latest patch then open it and run manually then it worked, there is a link for it at blizzard, fixed mine

edit i did have latest patch from the online install but I still had to redo latest one for it to work for some odd reason x2
