Yeah, voting more of those lefties in office sounds like a better idea.

Lefties want to create more mental institutions so we can lock them up and forget about them. Conservatives want them on the streets bothering liberals in big cities. Both don't actually care about them as individuals, they just have different ways of dealing with the situation.

Try not to look at things from a red or blue perspective.

CA is the largest economy in the country. Losing CA would not be a good thing.

Also, republicans live in CA also, you know?

The lefties don't have money for that, they've already spent it on all of those projects that make them feel good about themselves but in reality make the situation worse

Yes they're paying the outrageous taxes but it largely goes to projects they don't support. This is the core of the debate

I guess they could. Would you?

In all fairness, if I would live in a neighborhood like that I'd pack up. But for many it's not an option if they have a family, work there and so on

Bunch of people who aren't from California think they know about California. Sad.

We have billions in surpluses.

And what projects?

Tough luck? I'm sure Democrats in conservative majority states don't like it either. That's the way democracy works.

As for the fiscal health of California, it's doing much better under the past 2 governors than before. There's plenty of $$ to go around!

@5:10 a Cali business owner voices her concerns because she has to clean shit and syringes every morning while the libs who changed the laws seem content with the situation and their sanctuary state

This problem was caused by capitalism. It's impossible to show otherwise. The tech industry concentrated their wealth into a tiny area and displaced thousands of people. San Francisco is a perfect example of wealth inequality spawned by capitalism. So is Los Angeles. These are "liberal" cities in a true sense, in that liberal economics are capitalist economics combined with liberal social policies. They are not remotely left wing.

I personally love CA. Ive only been once during an overnight before heading to Japan but the day I spent walking around Redondo Beach was fun and I want to visit again.

People let the media tell them how to think way to much. CA is awesome.

Sure, I get that. If you go to places that aren't packed with homeless and you're not stepping into needles or human waste then CA is awesome. The debate is that it's the problem in some places
