as tinypic is down, i must change my avatar pic ... im trying to do it with other uploaders but i always get the error "change for a valid avatar url" ... what does this mean ?

Perhaps you need to paste a valid direct url link (usually that's the one that ends up with .file extenstion).

still same error message : Please provide a valid Avatar URL.

I've just checked it and you're right. It seems that for some reason this url can't be used as an avatar however it works perfectly fine as an image on jsp.
I tried using another hosting site and it worked, eg:
https://i.imgur.com/c8x47Wq.jpg

Furthermore please be aware that this image exceeds allowed size, so if you want to use this as an avatar I suggest to resize it first.
