hey guys, i have never played a bow on classic before i heard they suck. im sure it wont be like my lod with 37x 32020s or anything but can anyone give me a general outline of a finished product what bows armors rings i need the barney style breakdown.. i plan on doin chaos only with her

I use :

rare Balista (ias, damage)
Sigon gloves & helm (ias, leech, attack rating)
Twitchroe (ias)
rare amulet (skill, mana leech)
Goblin toe (12.5% crushing blow)
Goldwrap (ias)
rare ring (min, max, leech)
Manald heal (mana leech)

max Strafe, Freezing arrow [main skills]
max Cold arrow [synergy]
max Decoy
some Critical strike
1 point : Penetrate, Pierce, Valkyrie

As many dexterity points as you dare to invest.

Chaos sanctuary is not so slow... but very dangerous. Low life (around 300), low res (around -30) : a couple of hits sometimes mean death.
Hence the strategy : cast Decoy, shot from behind it. Valkyrie does not really kill, but her life gets boosted by Decoy, so she's another shelter.
Main attack is Freezeing arrow. Strafe is used to recover mana if needed (or against cold immuned targets of course).

Many people will tell you about Gothic bow. I prefer Balista for the ability to recover enough mana for casting continuously Freezing arrow.

Truth is you will never get close to other chars easiness...

Depending on what you want to do with the char, theres a couple cool items to try.

Bone flesh for open wounds, critical if your maining physical when you get to higher hp hell monsters, and things like duriel

Cleglaw gloves are awesome if you plan to use strafe. It will keep you safe and keep you valk alive

And for chaos using heavenly garb/ undead crown combo for kill undead is actually pretty sick. I've gone so far as to make a 6 socket gothic bow with diamonds, and yes it works pretty well. You have to have freezing arrow for venoms though

Those are my suggestions on fun this to try for pvm

Bowa can be solid in CS.

Java can be main killer in CS.

Bow alone is the hardest way to pvm at classic, it basically suck. But some ppls like them right cuz of this, making the challenge bigger

To be honest east didnt have a bow zon on lod that even came close jsp or non jsp to the one i had. the only wayyou could is to dump about 10k USD and even then i had a few items for her that was last on east. i just dont know what classic has to offer for a bowzon im wanting to solo chaos and dont know how viable it is... theres just something fun about a zon chaosing with multi and strafe and hella life mana leech as a glass cannon..

Well if you wanna make an OG classic bowazon and try to be viable with multi shot, you can deck your zon out in the best dupes and rares, but you will still need to load an amp necro follower bot to feel like you're raping shit old school
