- Dueling format is FT3
- Each competitor is allowed to challenge another who is up to 2 places above him. For instance, someone who is at the 4th place, can challenge either the 3rd or 2nd place player and take that rank.
- Challenges are valid only if they are posted in this topic. Priority order according to the challenges posted in the topic because the outcome of a match may change the whole scene.
- If you lose to an opponent, you must wait 72 hours to re-challenge that same person.
- A 1-day extension can be asked by requesting it in the topic.
- There will be a dodge system:
If someone dodges a challenge 2 times during the tournament, he gets disqualified.
You can ask for a break of MAX 1 week, but you will have to state it in the topic before you get challenged. You may not ask for a break after being challenged.- On August 31st, I will use a generator to decide randomly the starting places.
- There is no registration deadline and pvpers are allowed to participate at any giving moment by starting at the last place. But fear not cuz it's not that hard to climb up the ladder.
- The official timezone we will be using is EST (Eastern Standard Time).
- The winner of the match will be determined first to 3 wins. The outcome will be posted in the thread along with 2 types of pics, like the ones below, which will verify the result.
- The only people who are allowed to enter a tournament game are the 2 competitors and tournament admins who are stated in the official topic. No exceptions!Example of pic #1--> Pic showing at least 2 rounds of the set of duels.

Our GM Rules:a) No BM of any kind. That includes: BM gear, hack of any kind for pvp, shittalking, being arrogant. Generally speaking, respect other players.
b ) Overly defensive play can result in DQ but only at a requested mediator's discretion. If you think that your opponent is being too defensive, ask for a med.
c) If either competitor loses connection before a round starts, the round will begin when that person is back. If someone loses connection DURING a round, he loses the round and match continues, unless both sides agree to play again the round.
d ) Max Leap lvl after BO is lvl35.
e) Hdins should use joder only in 2 instances: 1) To go away from an attack and then switch back to normal tele,. 2) To charge in order to get close to an opponent and then switch back to tele so as to stomp. 24/7 jodering around map and jodering w/o tele on opponents are not allowed.
f) For NvN, only Bone Spear is allowed.
g) Poison necros are banned. However, bone necros can use white with Poison Nova and Lower Resist if MAX 1 hard point is put into Poison Nova.
h) If someone asks another player to show gear during a duel, the other player is bound to show full gear+inv.
i) Energy Shield sorcs are allowed to precast at stash. All other chars must carry their precast gear in the cube and cube must be put in inv.
j) Mana pool is allowed before the duel starts.
k) Replacing items during the set of ft3 is allowed. However, whoever goes to stash to change anything is bound to show full gear+inv to his opponent.
l) Glidewrapper is fully supported by blizzard and therefore, it is 100% GM. Full info on how to use it in our GM server
m) When the set of duels starts you are not allowed to leave and reenter game, unless valid disconnection. Also nobody, apart from the 2 competitors, is allowed to enter a tournament game unless 1 of the 2 competitors ask a tournament admin to join the game.
n) You are not allowed to respec depending on the match-up during the tournament.
You can use gear swaps, but you are not allowed to respec between matches and add or remove stat points!
For example, a bowa which had mb can't respec to full vita depending on the opp, but the bowa can have a stormshield in stash and use it if needed.
Another example--> A dudu can have both 163fcr and 99fcr mb setups but with the exact same hard stat points.
o) General Rules (listed below)
GENERAL RULES- no hacking
- both players must say go
- dueling arena is confined by rogue encampment, cold plains, and bridges
- must clear moor before dueling
- leaving the dueling arena during a duel is considered a loss (opponent decides if it was accidental or not)
- ties are nulled
- if you lose to an opponent you must wait 48 hours to re-challenge (48 hour dodge rule as well)
- may not use raven frost if cold resistance exceeds 400
- no thawing/antidote pots
- no rejuvs/hp pots
- mana pools are allowed
- no shrines/wells
- no mercs
- no prebuffing other than ES (cube inventory is ok)
- no eth items without repair mod or indestructible
- must maintain same class/type when dueling - gear swaps allowed (switching to max block, DR, etc)
- max resist of any element is 85%* (or 5% max and 20% sorb)
- max absorb of any element is 20%*
- can't use any +max resist or +%absorb with rising sun, tgods, or luna
- life replenish is capped at 40 (exception of 53 for barbs with angelics and double hoto switch+dungos for barb)
- max poison damage from inventory is 451
- no more than 10% slow from items (with the exception of arach)
- items which contain spell charges are allowed, but the use of the charges is not (exception of oak sage and heart of wolverine if agreed upon)
- no holy freeze against characters without teleport
- don't combine more than 1-5% max resist with more than 20% absorb
Class Specific Rules:Assassin:- c/c sins with above level 1 traps can't use any +absorb or +max
Barbarian:- bvc's may use two ravens with under 310 cold resist
Necro:- bonewall is banned
- all curses banned except amplify, lower resist, decrepify, and weaken (no decrepify vs chars who can't teleport)
- all corpse skills are banned
- prison is BM if enemy cannot teleport
- may use hotspurs, or dwarf and 10% max resistance
- for NvN, only bone spear is allowed
- may use 2 ravens with 250 or less cold resistance
Druid:- tgods is now GM
Sorceress:- can use either 10% max OR up to 20% sorb, cannot combine both of them
- magic and/or physical damage reduction is capped at 15
- may use mana pots regardless of ES %
- mo +max resistance with ES, sorb is not allowed
- max rep life for ES sorcs is 30
- nightwing is allowed
- oak is not allowed if you're using ES
- ES sorcs may precast at stash
Paladin:- activation of a resistance aura may not exceed the general max resistance/absorb limits
- activation of prayer or meditation is banned
- cleansing may only be activated to remove poison and/or curses
- maximum of 1 base point in prayer
- defensive grand charms are banned
- holy bolt is banned
- 1 piece of life tap is allowed
- no holy freeze vs chars who can't teleport
Amazon:- amazons may use 2 ravens with under 310 cold resist
- infinite arrows is not allowed unless agreed by both teams (mana and arrow conservation is a huge part of strategy, don't spam if you don't want to waste)
- slow missile is not allowed
- max 1 hard point plague jav is allowed
Banned Classes:Paladin: Auradin, FOHer
Amazon: 100% Poison Zon must have lvl 1 Plague with bow
Necromancer: Summoner, Poison
Sorceress: ES Orb
Gameplay Restrictions:- avoiding contact with an opponent intentionally with no plans of attacking for prolonged periods of time is unacceptable.
- casting of traps/missiles before both players say go
- camping in houses
- camping next to flavie (in the pathway between Moor/CP)
- glitching (aura glitch, skill glitching, ww glitch, corpse glitch, blade fury, flamebellow, trang, etc)
- there are no restrictions on in-game techniques (IBS, IGA, hammer-fields, etc)
Banned Items:- Doom (allowed vs chars that can teleport)
- Rising sun
- Griswold helm (allowed if you are full griswold set paladin)
- Blackoak Shield
Important Notes:
1) You may not respec stat and/or skill points during any point of the tournament.
You may use any gear swaps within tournament rules.
For example, a bowa which had mb can't respec to full vita depending on the opp, but the bowa can have a stormshield in stash and use it if needed.
Another example--> A dudu can have both 163fcr and 99fcr mb setups but with the exact same hard stat/skill points.
2) If any of the competitors thinks that his opponent is abusing any of the rules, he is allowed to stop the duels and ask a tournament admin to join the game.
If none of the admins are available, game will be postponed and will be replayed with a tournament admin present.
At the next game, the score will be the same with the one left from the previous game.DO NOT SPAM THIS THREAD
