I found this interesting. I think they're really trying to get this ending right, maybe film a bunch of atl endings to throw the spoiler monsters off the trail.

I would much prefer an episode 3 style ending with Palp winning than the cookie cutter Goodies beat the badies style i'm sure we'll get with Disney.

I would love to see Palpatine's plan come to fruition and have him dominate the galaxy (with Rey at his side as the new "Vader") Kylo turns to the light side, but dies to Rey.

Rey will travel back in time. It will be revealed that she is actually the same person as Shmi Skywalker. The actresses definitely look similar.

in the original trilogy, Obi-wan famously defends his claim that "vader killed anakin" by saying that it was true "from a certain point of view". The movie was able to pull off some audience misdirection thanks to careful wording.

Saying that they are 'nobody' or 'nothing' gives a certain impression to the audience. But if you take the same careful steps around the words, it does leave it open the possibility that she is a clone. In a sense, a clone's parents are nobody. The people who sold her off for drinking money could have just been some junkers who found her and were raising her for a time.

Rey being a clone of a skywalker (luke, leia or shmi) would connect her to the story in a way that the trilogy seems to heavily imply in certain scenes.
