So... I've been working on a holy grail project as I've always wanted to complete one. I knew my end game gear would include 3 piece Tal's(Chest/Amu/Belt).

I had been doing pure Blizz but switched to Orb/Fireball to change things up and for it to allow me to farm different areas. Needless to say, I was super underwhelmed with its damage output so I looked to grind essences ASAP to get a reset token to switch back to Blizz(I already used my quest respecs

)

After like 30 Diablo runs, no essence dropped. I'm starting to get frustrated because I just want to switch back to Blizz. Orb/FBall is just too weak in P8.

When all of a sudden.... WTF?!

I seriously did not think Diablo could drop Tal's Armor. If someone would have asked me, I would have said that he couldn't drop it. I didn't think his TC was high enough. In all of my years of playing, I've NEVER found one from Diablo nor heard anyone else finding one.

Bad defense roll but Idc. I was in disbelief for hours that it dropped from Diablo.

Apparently, it's pretty rare. Like having an Ohm drop from Diablo but Tal's Armor to me is much cooler because I was planning on grinding for one after I switched back to Blizzard

A few runs later, that Diablo essence FINALLY dropped :hail:

What was your favorite drop of all time? Post below! Mine was definitely this Tal's Armor because of the shock value and because I really needed it :drool:

I found an Ohm from a fallen really early in a ladder season two years ago while I was Mf'n hell Andy and rolled a 6 bo cta with it, won't forget that one!

I didn’t think it was within his TC. I seem to remember, when I was much younger, checking the drop chances of Tal’s Armor and it showed that Diablo couldn’t drop it. That could have been a calculator using old data from a different patch or maybe just me remembering incorrectly as it was a long time ago. I was just stunned is all because I had never found one from him before and I didn’t think it was possible.
