OCPD is being overly rigid to rules, typically self-imposed rules and being unable to tolerate non-adherence to those rules.
Correcting someone's spelling grammar absolutely fall into that realm.
The function of people correcting each other's grammar on an internet forum is almost universally about making the other person look stupid/inferior. That is not even remotely close to OCD.
Spraying "too much frebreeze" in someone's house would much more likely be OCD than OCPD. It's much more likely to do something like that as a compulsive/ritualistic response due to obsessive fears of contamination than it is due to rigid adherence to rules/order.
Not sure why you decided to hop all over my dick, but you're absolutely misinformed.
yea I knew some father who sprayed too much febreze, not to mention his house was always insanely spic and span aswell, it encompassed to more than just spraying febreze and was kinda involved in the generalities of his personality.
maybe correcting people on the internet compulsively would OCPD, not OCD, but it would have to be indented in the personality to be OCPD, such as correcting his friends on facebook too, tbh, if he only wants to expose internet kids bad spelling it's not really OCPD, but if he does it on a closer scale than just anonymous internet then yes it could be a disorder, but anyhow the internet is already plenty of mental disorders, for example I have internet psychoses sometimes and I think they're funny.
