im currently making a hdin and curious of some opinions on easy to make runewords and or common stats to look for on magic gear/good places to find it to help beef up myself and or merc

anything with FCR is good for starters

make an insight to put on your merc ASAP to help with your mana problems

spectral shard is pretty good for low lvls, suicide branch, wizardspike etc

i made a stealth and imediatly noticed a difference lol, and i realised also that vigor/blessed aim scepters a cheaper then blessed hammer ones and actually raise a little more dmg per lvl

but i cant seem tofind a dang 4os polearm i get spears left and right

only hard points in synergies count. vigor/blessed aim on a scepter wont help you.

spirit sword and shield are good if you have ladder runewords enabled

yeah stealth is all around great

here are the fcr breakpoints -- shoot for at least 75% once you're leveled
Fcr --9 /18 /30 /48 /75 /125

+Skills from items don't affect the synergy boost to Hammer (only hard points work there) just FYI

IIRC, the max # sockets from normal cows is 4, so if you find a polearm there you should be able to socket it at Larzuk for 4os.

wow thats deppressing. idk why i didnt pay attention to that.... but how do i know if ladder runewords are enabled or not? ive never really been big in off line so im trying to get up to speed... i know u can change the monster power aswell but cant remember how.. im sure a quick google search can tell me too lol

Ancients pledge, stealth, lore, smoke, spirit, insight are all good runewords for progression.

You can shop 2os helms, 2os armors, and 3os shields from Charsi in A1 and Fara in A2, magic find gloves and boots from Fara in A2 and Halbu in A4, staves with teleport charges from Ormus in A3 after lvl24, belts with high +life from Halbu in A4.

e/ oh and ladder runewords are not enabled in single player by default, follow post #3 in the below guide

One of my favorites to do (assuming you have enabled Ladder RWs) is to have an A2 Prayer Merc and give him an Insight Polearm. The 2 auras synergize, giving you copious amounts of mana and health regen. Good on almost any class. This is fairly easy to obtain by A3/A4 normal, just needs a Sol rune really.
